Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Electrical Engineer to directly support Energy Infrastructure & Generation in Bastrop, TX. You will lead engineering for temporary and permanent power generation plants and ensure safe, efficient installation and integration with site power distribution.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance planning, and coordination with utility providers to optimize energy procurement and resilience for high-demand manufacturing facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering with focus on power generation design, construction, or maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and construction of power generation plants (gas/diesel generators, turbines, solar, hybrid).
• Oversee build and commissioning of generation infra and integrate with site power.
• Develop maintenance programs and predictive schedules for power systems.
