Job summary

Stealth Startup in Alaska is seeking an Electrical Engineer to assist in the design, development, implementation, and analysis of electrical and electro-mechanical systems and processes. You will work with a team to prepare plans, calculations, and technical reports for new and existing products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required.
• ELP: 3 years of full-time Electrical Engineering experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD for electrical systems design.
• Professional experience with PLM/PDM software.
• Electrical enclosure layouts.
• Experience with engineering project management tools.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.

Responsibilities

• Design power systems, including VFDs.
• Create 2D CAD designs for electrical systems; AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Develop 3D electrical enclosure layouts with mechanical engineers.
• Provide technical direction to designers and technicians.
• Use PDM/PLM for revision control.
• Create and edit BOMs using ERP/SAP exposure.
• Apply knowledge of analog and digital circuits and components.
• Work with RS232/RS422/RS485, CAN bus, Ethernet.
• Follow standard project management practices; mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support other projects as needed.
