Job summary

Constellation Energy seeks Engineers at mid-level and senior levels to perform advanced technical problem solving in support of nuclear plant operations. You will act as a technical expert and provide engineering leadership for short- and long-term programs impacting site operations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering with nuclear experience and, preferably, Professional Engineer registration; familiarity with high voltage electrical systems and codes is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience.
• Maintain minimum access or unescorted access requirements and pass medical examinations as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analyses and programs.
• Offer technical expertise to identify and resolve equipment and system problems as a subject-matter expert.
• Lead short- and long-term programs impacting site operations.
• Perform engineering tasks applying engineering principles.
• Ensure configuration management and adherence to design criteria, practices, procedures and codes.
• Conduct independent research, reviews and analyses for projects and programs.
• Recommend equipment, new concepts and techniques to improve performance and reduce costs.
• Support outage activities and emergency response as directed by management.
