Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to perform design activities across all phases of a project at our Waltz Mill facility in Madison, PA. You will report to the Sr Manager of Inspection Technology and travel up to 20% while onsite five days a week when not traveling.

Responsibilities include electrical design evaluations, troubleshooting robotic equipment, and interfacing with vendors and internal teams to implement improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Technical aptitude required.
• Ability to use oscilloscopes to troubleshoot issues and read and create electrical schematics.
• Able to solder components from cable assemblies down to board level.
• Travel up to 20% of the time.
• Must obtain and maintain unescorted access in a commercial nuclear power facility.
• Stand/ sit for long periods; lift up to 50 pounds; climb stairs and ladders; work in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical engineering design evaluations and analyze components.
• Create and revise procedures to support design or field activities.
• Support troubleshooting, repair and functional testing of electro/mechanical robotic equipment.
• Interface with vendors and internal groups to obtain information for assignments.
• Identify and recommend process/equipment improvements and help implement them.
• Support field implementation and troubleshooting of inspection equipment at nuclear plant sites.
