Job summary

Serco is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical systems and PCB layouts for unmanned underwater vehicles. You will prototype and document manufacturing processes, and integrate sensors, propulsion, and power systems.

You will support at-sea test and evaluation activities and ensure proper technical documentation and IEEE standards compliance throughout hardware development.

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 2 years of professional design experience in electrical/electronic design and PCB tooling.

Responsibilities

Job description

Design and develop electrical systems and PCB layouts for unmanned underwater vehicles, including prototyping and manufacturing documentation. Integrate and test various hardware systems such as sensors, propulsion, and power systems, while supporting at-sea test and evaluation activities.

Requirements:

Candidates must hold an active DoD Secret Security Clearance and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. At least 2 years of professional experience in electrical/electronic design and proficiency with PCB design tools like OrCAD or Altium are required.
