Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 5+ years of related work experience and a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of related work experience and technical education

Responsibilities

  • Analytical Skills (Technical): collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.
  • Design Concepts and Techniques: advanced knowledge of design concepts and techniques (e.g., concurrent engineering, Design for Manufacture/Assembly [DFM/A]).
  • Engineering Processes: knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various engineering departments/disciplines (e.g., design, test, software, technology, avionics).
  • Engineering Knowledge/Comprehension: knowledge of various engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, and systems; communicate with technical personnel to evaluate information and issues.
  • Systems Thinking: understand inter-relationships between components, anticipate future events and apply systems thinking to performance.
  • Worst Case Circuit Analysis: knowledge of worst case circuit characteristics and circuit loads.
  • Circuit Design Tools: knowledge of Spice, Mentor Graphics, HDL.
  • Circuit Design: knowledge of analog and digital circuit design and packaging techniques.
  • Electromechanical Design: knowledge of electromechanical design and CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, CATIA, Mentor).
