Job summary

TAIT is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and maintain electrical systems for portable and fixed installations. You will collaborate with senior engineers and project teams to create schematics, troubleshoot issues, and validate system safety.

The role requires a foundational understanding of electrical principles, commitment to safety, and teamwork in a multidisciplinary environment. Growth opportunities exist across TAIT’s global projects and clients.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical engineering or technical theatre with emphasis in electrical design.
• 2+ years in electrical design/engineering or related field.
• Basic CAD experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design control systems meeting client specs for portable and fixed installations.
• Assist in engineering analyses of electrical loads, layout, and functional safety.
• Perform optimization/value engineering to reduce cost and improve efficiency; specify components.
• Prepare BOMs and assist procurement of outside vendor parts and services.
• Create fabrication drawings and contribute to manuals and submittal packages.
• Explore emerging technologies to advance controls for leading edge systems.
• Adhere to safety policies and attend required meetings.
