Job summary

KB Signaling invites a detail-oriented Electrical Engineering Intern to join the Product Support Team in Grain Valley, MO. Work with experienced hardware engineers on safety-critical railroad projects to gain hands-on experience in a regulated, high-reliability environment.

You will assist in testing, reviews, and documentation while learning regulatory standards and lifecycle processes for high-reliability products.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Interest in safety-critical systems and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in railroad safety-critical applications.
• Support schematic reviews, PCB layout verification, and documentation per industry safety standards.
• Perform basic electrical measurements with lab equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies).
• Document test procedures and results, helping prepare technical reports and maintain records.
