Job summary

Brunswick Boat Group Technology Center in Edgewater, Florida is seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern to support R&D activities, applying classroom knowledge to real-world projects on next-generation marine electronics and systems.

You will work with CAD tools, develop 2D/3D models, assist with ECNs, and collaborate with engineers to meet schedules while gaining hands-on industry experience during May–August 2027.

Qualifications

  • CAD experience: Siemens NX, SolidWorks, Catia or Pro/E preferred.
  • 3-D modeling skills desirable.
  • Boating, fishing and/or marine industry knowledge desirable.
  • Authorized to work in the United States immediately without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Engineers in developing ideas into manufacturable products within cost and regulatory targets.
  • Support target schedules and maintain awareness of overall project timelines.
  • Develop electrical components, panels, wiring harnesses and systems to support profitability.
  • Create 2D drawings and 3D models for new and existing products.
  • Communicate with suppliers during design to resolve technical issues.
  • Perform evaluations, testing, and generate reports as needed.
  • Provide integration and troubleshooting support to manufacturing and service teams.
  • Generate manufacturing documentation and ECNs for changes.
  • Support manufacturing and customer service on issues arising during production.
