Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) invites energized students to join our Overland Park, Kansas team as an Electrical Engineer Intern for Summer 2027.

You’ll contribute to energy-efficient building solutions and learn from mentors tackling complex engineering challenges. You’ll engage in design analysis, coordinate with project teams, and observe how AEI delivers high-impact projects for healthcare, science, and technology sectors.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in Electrical or Architectural Engineering program from ABET accredited school.
• Completed 3 years of coursework or have a junior standing.
• Minimum GPA of 2.5.
• Leadership involvement in extracurricular activities/student organizations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and project work on energy-efficient building solutions.
• Observe and learn from engineers on complex projects across healthcare, science and technology sectors.
• Collaborate with project teams to support design delivery and client outcomes.
