VIAVI Solutions Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern to join our Indianapolis team.

You will assist in designing, testing, and debugging analog and digital circuits, and support embedded hardware and firmware development in a fast-paced environment. You will gain hands-on experience with laboratory equipment, circuit simulation tools, and cross-functional collaboration, while contributing to technical documentation and design reviews.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of fundamental electrical engineering principles.
• Familiarity with circuit design and simulation tools (Altium Designer, Eagle, SPICE).
• Experience with laboratory equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies).
• Programming in C/C++ and Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in designing, simulating, and testing analog and digital circuits.
• Support embedded hardware and firmware development and debugging.
• Conduct lab experiments, collect data, and analyze results.
