Black & Veatch is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer located in or willing to relocate to major U.S. markets.
The role focuses on leading electrical design for industrial water projects, including data centers, mining, food and beverage, and life sciences facilities. You will mentor engineers, coordinate with utilities, and guide design teams across EPC, FEL/FEED, and related delivery models.

As part of BV Operations, your skills will be aligned to projects that support our Industrial Water business. BV’s Industrial Water business works to provide innovative solutions and integrated planning, design and construction support for mission‑critical facilities, as well as threat reduction and environmental services support worldwide. By joining our business, you will be able to provide water treatment infrastructure that is the lifeblood of industrial processes for community benefit.
This team partners with our customers to align their people, processes, and technologies in the face of industry transformation. We help our customers leverage our industry‑leading solutions and expertise to modernize water infrastructure, optimize asset use, meet performance goals, reduce costs, and mitigate risk no matter where the water industry goes next. This team is ranked in the top 10 by ENR for Water Design Firms in Water Supply and Sewer Waste and other water‑related rankings.
Individual Contributor
Holds an active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements for BV projects in applicable countries, and supports where necessary.
Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.
