Job summary

BN Associates Inc. in Santa Clara, CA is seeking three experienced Electrical Engineers to support ETO bioprocess and automated equipment projects from design through FAT.

You will create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, power distribution, and BOMs, select components, and provide hands-on shop-floor engineering support.

You will lead design reviews, process ECOs in a PLM environment, and assist with system integration, FAT, and the final as-built documentation packages.

Qualifications

• Education: B.S. in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience: 3-7 years in electrical design for industrial automation, custom machinery, process equipment, or ETO systems.
• Preferred: biopharmaceutical process equipment or SUS experience.
• Familiarity with UL 508A, NFPA 79, CE/IEC.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, power distribution, and BOMs.
• Specify industrial components, instrumentation, safety devices, and control hardware.
• Provide real-time engineering support to Manufacturing during assembly and wiring; troubleshoot issues on the floor.
• Lead and participate in design reviews and ECOs within a PLM environment.
• Support system integration, commissioning, and FAT execution with Controls and Quality teams.
• Complete and release final as-built electrical documentation post-testing.
