Job summary

Sunrise Engineering seeks an Electrical Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our Electrical Design group in Salt Lake City, Utah. We welcome part-time or full-time interns if an EIT certification is not yet obtained.

The candidate will design and update electrical drawings, support field surveys, and contribute to reports and client communications, with growth toward project leadership and business development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Completed four-year electrical engineering degree.
• CAD experience required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• 0-5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering.
• Preferred: project and team management, Revit modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design, review, and update electrical construction drawings for projects including water, wastewater, land development, and industrial processes.
• Occasionally accompany project managers for field surveys or inspections.
• Conduct studies and prepare written reports for clients.
• Assist in business development and prepare statements of qualifications and proposals.
