Job summary

TAIT is seeking an Electrical Engineer to assist in designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems for portable and fixed installations. You will create schematics, troubleshoot issues, and test to ensure safety and functionality, working with senior engineers in a multidisciplinary setting.

Key responsibilities include designing control systems, performing analyses of loads and layouts, and preparing BOMs and drawings for client submissions.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical engineering or technical theatre with emphasis in electrical design.
• 2+ years in Electrical Design and Engineering or in a related field.
• Basic CAD experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design control systems meeting client specs for portable and fixed installations.
• Collaborate with lead designer; analyze electrical loads, layouts, and functional safety.
• Prepare BOMs and assist procurement of external parts and services.
• Create finished electrical assemblies and fabrication drawings; contribute to O&M manuals and client submittals.
• Explore emerging technologies to advance controls design and implementation.
• Adhere to company safety policies and participate in meetings and trainings.
