The role emphasizes mentorship, BIM-based design using Revit and AutoCAD, and collaboration with clients and contractors to deliver compliant, constructible solutions.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor9s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• 5 years of experience in an AEC firm.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Designs electrical systems of intermediate complexity in conformance with code requirements and in coordination with other design disciplines.
• Coordinates with architects, engineers and designers, as well as internal and external team members to ensure a coordinated, constructible and complete design.
• Develops narratives, reports and construction drawing packages and writes construction specifications for small projects.
• Supports construction activities such as RFI responses, submittal reviews, punch lists, and progress reports.
• Plans and directs work and manages a project electrical design budget on small to medium projects.
• Leads quality checks and mentors junior Electrical Engineers and Designers.
