Job summary

CRB is seeking an Electrical Engineer III to focus on the design and engineering of power, lighting, grounding/bonding, and special systems into the built work environment. The engineer manages multiple complex tasks, directs the work of others, and oversees the Electrical discipline scope and discipline budget on small‑to‑medium projects of intermediate complexity.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• 5 years of experience in an AEC environment.
• Professional Engineer registration in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems of intermediate complexity in conformance with code requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, designers and other team members for coordinated designs.
• Develop narratives, reports, and construction drawing packages; write specifications.
• Support construction activities such as RFI responses, submittal reviews and punch lists.
• Lead quality check efforts for small projects and mentor junior staff.
