Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer III to join our Energy team in Houston. This hybrid position combines office and remote work. The engineer will contribute to power generation, industrial, and energy infrastructure projects, with a path toward leadership of small scopes.

You will apply strong fundamentals, use ETAP/SKM, and mentor entry-level engineers while delivering defined tasks on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering with 4 years of related experience.
• Experience in electrical engineering for energy infrastructure or industrial projects.
• Experience with electrical analysis and modeling tools (ETAP, SKM).

Responsibilities

• Performs specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
• Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established procedures.
• Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and tests.
• Proposes approaches to solve new problems using modifications of standard procedures.
• Identifies discrepancies in results and develops solutions.
• Provides guidance to entry level engineers and manages tasks within budget and schedule.
