Recruiting Solutions is seeking an Electrical Engineer III to join an expanding automation team in Greenville, SC. You will design electrical control systems and lead projects from concept through startup, supporting commissioning and customer acceptance with a focus on safety and performance.

Qualifications include 6–8+ years in industrial automation, proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical/SolidWorks Electrical, and knowledge of UL508A/NFPA/NEC.

Formación

• Degree in Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering or related field preferred.
• 6–8+ years in industrial automation, controls engineering, machine building, or related fields.
• Knowledge of UL508A, NFPA, NEC, and industrial networking systems.

Responsabilidades

• Design electrical control systems, control panels, schematics, and automation architectures for custom equipment and manufacturing systems.
• Develop I/O lists, cable schedules, wiring diagrams, power distribution layouts, and detailed engineering documentation.
• Lead electrical and automation projects from concept through build, installation, and startup.
• Support machine commissioning, troubleshooting, testing, validation, and customer acceptance activities.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers, controls engineers, manufacturing teams, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering standards, CAD libraries, design processes, and system performance.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including UL, NFPA, and NEC requirements.
• Provide technical expertise and mentorship on automation and robotics projects.

What You'll Do

As an Electrical Engineer III, you'll play a key role in designing and delivering innovative automation solutions that improve manufacturing performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design electrical control systems, control panels, schematics, and automation architectures for custom equipment and manufacturing systems

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline preferred
• Associate Degree with significant relevant experience will also be considered
• 6-8+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, machine building, systems integration, or related fields
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar electrical design software
• Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, automation controls, robotics, and machine integration
• Knowledge of UL508A, NFPA, NEC, and industrial networking systems
• Proven troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project execution skills
