Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking a rock-solid electrical engineer to support planning, design, and delivery of electrical systems for transportation and infrastructure projects in the Los Angeles area. You will perform analyses, calculations, and prepare plans, specifications, and reports with a focus on low- and medium-voltage systems and EV/ZEV charging infrastructure.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering with 2 years of experience (or a Master’s with 1 year).

Under the direction of senior technical staff, you will support the planning, design, and delivery of electrical systems for transportation, aviation, and other infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include performing engineering analyses, calculations, and preparing plans, specifications, reports, cost estimates, and other technical documentation. The role supports low- and medium-voltage power systems, EV/ZEV charging infrastructure, utility service, power distribution, metering, underground infrastructure, electrical equipment, and control systems. Additional responsibilities include coordinating with utilities, clients, and multidisciplinary project teams; supporting design reviews and quality-control activities; and providing engineering assistance during construction, testing, commissioning, and project closeout.
