RTX in Goleta, CA is seeking an Electronics Engineer to design and test electronics of varying complexity within a collaborative team. You will schedule tasks, report progress, and work with engineers, program managers, and supply chain.

The role supports both individual contributions and cross-discipline development with electrical, mechanical, and system engineers, and may require occasional travel.

Qualifications

What You Will Do

The candidate will be responsible for designing and testing electronics of various complexity in a team environment.

The candidate will be responsible for scheduling tasks, providing status, and working with a team of engineers, program managers, and supply chain.

The candidate will work as individual contributor or in a cross-discipline product development team environment with electrical, mechanical, and system engineers.

This position may require occasional business-related travel.

Qualifications You Must Have

2+ years of experience or an Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance post-start is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

Experience with some design tools (SPICE, schematic/layout design software, MATLAB, ADS, HFSS, Hyperlynx, GeneSys as examples) and the ability and desire to learn new tools.

Experience with schematic capture, block diagrams, and parts lists for complex electronics.

Hands-on experience testing electronic products using bench power supplies, signal/waveform generators, high-speed oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers or vector network analyzers.

The salary range for this role is 75,800 USD - 144,200 USD.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
