Job description

Position

Location: Marlborough, MA (Boston Post Rd, BLDG 1). Role type: Onsite. U.S. citizenship is required. A (transferrable) DoD Secret security clearance – interim clearance acceptable – is required prior to the start date.

Responsibilities

• Designing RF, digital, power, and analog circuits.
• VHDL design.
• Integration and testing of electronic hardware.
• Operating and automating test equipment in a lab environment.
• Analyzing, modeling, and simulating electronic designs.
• Troubleshooting hardware and process issues down to CCA and component levels.
• Resolving issues on production lines and in testing, including with suppliers.
• Selecting components for electronic designs.
• Providing layout and routing support of printed circuit boards.
• Providing factory, field, production, and supplier support domestically and internationally.

Qualifications – Required

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM major.
• Experience with one or more of the following systems: RF, Microwave, Analog, Digital Electronics, Mixed Signal, Circuit Design or Analysis, Power Electronics, VHDL, FPGA, Electrical Components, Digital Signal Processing, or PCB design.

Qualifications – Preferred

• 3.0 cumulative GPA from an ABET‑accredited institution.
• Relevant coursework in Digital, RF, Analog, and/or Power electronics.
• Lab experience with hardware/software integration, test equipment, test automation scripting, test conduction, and sensor control.
• Knowledge of electrical circuit design, analysis, and troubleshooting using common lab equipment.
• Technical working knowledge of electronic components (semiconductor, passive, and/or electromechanical).
• Knowledge of electro‑optical subsystems.
• Experience developing GPU applications using CUDA or OpenCL.
• Experience with Root‑Cause Corrective Action investigations and FRACAS processes.
