Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting is seeking an Electrical Engineer II/III to join our team on diverse energy and industrial projects. Responsibilities include CAD design, design reviews, and field support across utilities, renewables, and oil/gas sectors.

Location flexibility with remote options is available; candidates may travel up to 10% for field work. A bachelor’s in electrical engineering and related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Engineer II: 1–3+ years related experience.
• Engineer III: 3+ years related experience.
• EIT license preferred; PE a plus.
• Experience with power, control, and communications systems.
• NEC knowledge and NFPA 70E familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Perform CAD design and drafting to support electrical and control systems.
• Lead moderate to large projects and advise on technical issues.
• Develop design documents including one- and three-line diagrams.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Apply engineering software for ground grid design, sizing, and studies.
• Travel up to 10% for field engineering support.
