Job summary

Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc. seeks an Electrical Engineer II to design, develop, and test electrical systems and components for diverse projects.

You will analyze issues, develop solutions, and optimize designs while bridging hardware and software in our engineering lab. The role requires a bachelor’s degree with 2–4 years of experience, ability to obtain customer clearance, and collaboration with engineers and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2–4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination.
• Must possess required certifications for the contract.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property.

Responsibilities

• Bridge hardware and software, using coding expertise to develop firmware and automate testing.
• Oversee daily lab operations, calibration, inventory and safety protocols.
• Independently design, develop, and test electrical systems and components to meet project specs and standards.
• Conduct calculations, simulations, and analyses to optimize performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to develop innovative solutions and address complex challenges.
• Lead small projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design processes.
