Job summary

VeeRteq Solutions Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to lead design, analysis, and development of new electronic products, from concept through prototype and into manufacturing.

You will work on circuitry for products with lights, lasers, and controllers, and collaborate with mechanical, software, and design teams to meet project goals. The role requires hands-on PCB/PCBA development, embedded firmware in C/C++/Assembly, and strong debugging skills using electronics test equipment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of electrical engineering/product development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on design of circuitry, PCBAs, and electronic systems.
• Embedded firmware development using C, C++ and/or Assembly.
• Experience integrating electronics into physical products with cross-functional teams.
• Strong debugging and testing with electronics test equipment and fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, analysis, development, and evaluation of new electronic products.
• Develop electronics from concept through prototype, testing, and manufacturing.
• Design circuitry for products with lights, lasers, and controllers.
• Collaborate across product, mechanical, and software teams on brainstorming and definitions.
• Apply engineering principles and development best practices throughout the process.
• Manage PCB/PCBA development from concept to production and optimize components.
• Work with suppliers to optimize cost, manufacturability, and selection.
• Integrate PCBAs into housings and mechatronic systems.
• Support DFMEA, DVP&R, and validation activities.
