Job summary

You will contribute to basic electrical system designs, perform calculations, and participate in reviews to ensure compliance with regulations while developing technical design documentation for publication and internal use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related field.

• Travel up to 10% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, creates basic designs of electric master system plans, power systems, protection and generation models, and other electrical systems.
• Performs studies of power systems and electrical calculations, lighting simulations and layouts.
• Assists with selection and specification of electrical components (e.g., motor control centers, switchgears, transformers).
• Reviews draft designs for compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
