Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer to contribute to design and construction activities on engineering projects. You will assist with drawings, calculations, and specifications while gaining exposure to substation design, control systems, and protective relaying.

The role requires a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and up to 1 year of relevant experience. Travel to project sites may be needed; full-time on-site position with opportunities for

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited engineering program.
• Entry-level; 0–1 years of relevant industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform design activities requiring a basic understanding of drawings, calculations, specifications, and industry standards and practices covering the assigned work.
• Shall have a basic knowledge of the theory, practices, and procedures pertaining to engineering matters in one or more of the following areas: Electrical Engineering.
• Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, calculations, cost estimates, specifications, evaluations, and requisitions.
• Develop professional work knowledge and abilities in one or more of the following areas: Substation Design, Electrical Control Systems, Protective Relaying.
• Develop knowledge of the Company-s design, construction, QA/QC, and safety standards and the Company document control system.
• Responsible for complete and accurate record keeping and quality of all work performed.
• May be required to travel to support work.
• Other duties as required.

Overview

Perform an entry level engineering role in the design or construction aspects of engineering projects and assists other departmental engineers.

Compensation

In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation

Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range
