Job summary

STULZ USA is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design electrical systems for commercial HVAC equipment, including microprocessor controls and power panels. You will create schematics, BOMs, and operation sequences, and work with sales, production, and service teams to support installations.

The role requires a BSEE (or 4 years of equivalent experience), experience with CAD drafting (AutoCAD or Zuken E3), and BOM maintenance in SAP.

Qualifications

• Minimum BSEE and/or 4 years of electrical engineering experience with direct supervision by an engineer.
• Electrical CAD drafting experience with AutoCAD or Zuken E3 preferred.
• BOM creation and maintenance in an SAP/MRP system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical design of products and systems for HVAC equipment, including controls and power panels.
• Select and integrate electrical components for serial networks and building management systems.
• Create engineering documentation such as schematics, BOMs, and operation sequences.
• Design test equipment and develop testing methods for products and systems.
• Support sales, marketing, applications engineering, production and field service with technical information.
• Evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to prevent malfunctions.
