Job summary

Logan Aluminum, Inc. in Kentucky is seeking an Electrical Engineer to help define and lead improvement projects for the plant’s power distribution, supporting aluminum casting, rolling, and finishing processes.

You will participate in reliability teams, implement PMs, and apply PdM technologies to keep HV/MV systems performing reliably, while contributing to future expansion plans and power distribution reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with medium and high voltage power systems including Plant Power Distribution, Switchgear, and Transformers.
• Experience with protective relaying is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and participate in improvement projects per strategic plan and plant leadership.
• Contribute to reliability improvement teams and optimize equipment for casting, rolling, and finishing.
• Ensure PMs are implemented and PdM technologies used for reliable MV/HV power distribution.
• Participate in expansion project reviews regarding power distribution needs.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team from operators to senior management.
