Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Exton, PA to lead high-voltage capacitive discharge assemblies and related drivers and test equipment. You will design and refine high-voltage pulsed power solutions for aerospace systems, collaborating with customers and suppliers in a quickly evolving environment.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of design experience, including analog circuitry.

Qualifications

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
  • Minimum 5 years design/development experience, including 2+ years in analog circuit design.
  • Familiarity with high-voltage (>40 kV) and capacitor discharge applications (preferred).
  • Knowledge of electronic design software (Altium) and 3D modeling (SolidWorks).
  • Prior mechanical experience (preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Office; strong attention to detail and problem solving.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (citizens, PRs, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-voltage pulsed power assemblies meeting customer specs and internal requirements.
  • Design products electrically and mechanically focusing on performance, manufacturability, and testability.
  • Carry out tolerance studies and component selection with thermal considerations.
  • Prepare engineering specifications, parts lists, time estimates, and test/fabrication schedules.
  • Write engineering reports and assist in technical proposals.
  • Participate in design reviews, pre-production builds, debugging, and product testing at labs.
  • Plan and execute test procedures; conduct lab or field experiments and interpret results.
  • Provide technical support for mature products in production.
  • Interface with customers and suppliers as a technical expert and part of the supply chain.
