Curt-G.-Jo is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support design, development, testing, troubleshooting, field support and installation of converting equipment. This foundational-level engineering role offers mentored guidance and opportunities to contribute to innovative solutions across design and commissioning.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's in Engineering, strong analytic and communication skills, and the ability to work with complex design software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytic skills to troubleshoot equipment/processes and implement solutions.
• Ability to effectively utilize complex software for design, problem solving, and documentation.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate among a team.

Responsibilities

• Provides services for installation, start-up, and commissioning of converting equipment at customer sites.
• Performs product testing and troubleshooting to certify equipment for customer acceptance.
• Contributes to design and layout of electrical components and systems for converting equipment.
• Assesses electrical component requirements and creates BOMs.
• Develops and implements control programs for PLC, HMI, motion, and display systems.
• Coordinates assembly operations during equipment construction when needed.
