Job description

Southwest Range Services

Southwest Range Services LLC (SRS) is hiring entry-level electrical engineers to support the Test and Evaluation (T&E) efforts of the Center for Countermeasures (the Center). The Center directs, coordinates, supports and conducts independent countermeasure (CM) / counter-countermeasure (CCM) open-air field T&E activities for U.S. and foreign weapon systems, sub-systems, sensors, and related components. The Center supports T&E, develops test tools and methodologies, and provides test resources to compliment and supplement the efforts of other Services and Intelligence entities. The Center's T&E efforts assess the operational effectiveness and suitability of CM / CCM systems in the increasingly hostile environments of the modern battlefield. The Center supports tri-service CM / CCM infrared (IR), electro-optical (EO), and radio frequency (RF) weapon systems (and associated systems) research experiments, developmental testing programs and operational testing programs. The Center utilizes weapon simulators, weapon launchers, radars, optical imaging, telemetry, GPS, meteorology, tracking and timing systems to support open-air systems T&E activities. The Center is also supporting the research, planning, development, testing, integration, and operation of emerging technology and instrumentation for the T&E of Directed Energy Weapons. Successful candidates will be members of the Center's fully-mobile teams that conduct year-round testing both within (CONUS) and outside (OCONUS) the 48 Contiguous States of the United States. Significant (up to 40%) travel is required.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution. Strong desire to work and problem-solve in challenging environments both indoors and outdoors. Must have a valid driver's license. Applicant will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Successful candidates must obtain and maintain a security clearance as a condition of employment.
