Job summary

You will define system architecture, capture schematics, and drive bring-up and debug with cross-functional teams. The role requires designing and developing custom PCBs and electronic systems, with a strong ability to take designs through full lifecycle from architecture to validation.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent engineering degree is required.
• Experience designing and developing custom PCBs and electronic systems.
• Experience taking board designs through full cycle: architecture, schematic capture, bring-up and debug.

Responsibilities

• Define the board and system architecture for new prototypes, selecting components and technologies.
• Capture schematics across high-speed digital, analog, power, and mixed-signal designs, define electrical constraints.
• Independently bring up, debug, and characterize prototypes using lab instrumentation to a working system.
• Create and execute test and validation plans, including functional verification and signal characterization.
• Track and resolve hardware issues, support builds and rework with vendors and lab staff.
• Work closely with cross-functional counterparts to bring up the full system.
• Present data and findings to partners and leadership.
