Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking an Electrical Engineer — EIT to join our Irvine, CA team. The role involves supporting planning, design, and construction of electrical systems for municipal and industrial water and wastewater facilities, under mentorship from experienced engineers.

Responsibilities include designing power distribution, SCADA, lighting, and communications; collaborating with project teams; and developing cost estimates and construction documents.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Engineering intern/EIT certification (FE passed).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or Plant 3D.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design of low- and medium-voltage power distribution, lighting, SCADA, and communications systems.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to support electrical designs from concept through construction.
• Review drawings and assist with electrical studies and cost estimates.
