Weiser Engineering, P.C. in Peachtree Corners, GA seeks an Electrical Engineer to lead projects from concept through completion for heavy industrial, manufacturing, and food processing facilities.

The role requires designing electrical systems, performing studies, and managing projects within a team environment. Candidates should have a BS in Electrical Engineering (ABET), EIT and PE tracks, 2–4 years in power and lighting design, and proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and SKM Power Tools; travel

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• E.I.T. certification with PE track in progress.
• 2–4 years in electrical power and lighting design.
• Professional attitude, strong work ethic and good communication; self-starter.
• Experience producing drawings for lighting, power distribution and electrical systems.
• Proficient with BIM software: Revit and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of NEC and building codes related to engineering design.
• Ability to work independently or in a team; thrives in fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with SKM PowerTools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or direct development of design docs: drawings, calculations, specifications, reports.
• Apply engineering principles and codes to construction documents.
• Develop specifications, working drawings, instructions, and related docs.
• Maintain complete project files and documentation.
• Participate in QC: review drawings with Senior Engineer; revise as needed.
• Perform design reviews as part of QC process.
• Ensure drawings, specs, reports meet scope, schedule, cost, quality.
• Keep up-to-date with applicable codes and construction standards.
• Travel up to 25-30% of the time.
