Job summary

Associates Systems LLC in Tucson, AZ is seeking Electrical Engineers at Jr to Sr levels for DOD Secret clearance readiness. Responsibilities include rapid problem assessment, data gathering, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving issue resolution in production and supplier contexts.

Candidates will troubleshoot with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and power supplies; create change documentation in cPDM; present changes to Change Board and participate in peer reviews

Qualifications

• Experience with cPDM / Problem resolution / Hands-on oscilloscope, generators, power supplies, network analysers.
• Ability to assess problems quickly, determine required information, allocate resources, and communicate a plan across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot production or supplier issues and drive to closure.
• Create and manage change documentation in cPDM and present changes to Change Board.
• Participate in peer reviews within Engineering and Operations.
• Analyze defect/yield data and implement process improvements to reduce recurring failures.
• Provide general electrical engineering support for production.

Electrical Engineers Jr / MID /Sr -

Active Secret or US Citizens in good standing with the ability to apply and hold for a DOD clearance.

• Experience with the following: cPDM / Problem resolution / Hands-on oscilloscope, generators, power supplies, network analysers, etc...
• Responsibilities include the ability to make a quick assessment of a problem, identify additional information required, understand the resources available, compare the urgency of the issue to other failures/issues, and to take the understanding of these parts and create a path for troubleshoot and/or correction and final resolution. Then it is required to be able to communicate this plan to a cross functional team with diverse backgrounds. And lastly to continue to drive updates and status of this plan along the way. Problem resolution of production factory and/or supplier issues, troubleshooting, maintenance of technical data package including creation of change documentation using cPDM, presentation of change packages in Review Borad/Change Board, take ownership and drive issues to completion by coordinating team members and resources. Participate in peer reviews of other engineers from Engineering and Operations groups. Troubleshoot failures using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, programmable power supplies, spectrum/network analyzers, and related tools. Analyze defect/yield data and implement process improvements to reduce recurring failures. Other general electrical engineering tasks relating to production support.
