Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Candidates without a bachelor’s degree may be considered if they hold a PE license or Designer of Engineering Systems license.
• 3–7 years of experience in electrical design and estimating.
• Experience in design-build, electrical contracting, or general contractor environments.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Accubid or equivalent estimating software.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and construction standards.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical power distribution systems per NEC and local codes.
• Create one-line diagrams, load calculations, and layouts using AutoCAD, Revit.
• Perform lighting design, voltage drop calculations, and coordination studies.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates using estimating software.
• Review construction documents for material take-offs and labor estimates.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to meet project budgets.
• Support construction teams during project execution.
