AlphaGov is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team and develop electrical systems for high-rise buildings and large-scale commercial projects. • Ability to manage multiple design assignments while meeting deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Design electrical systems for high-rise offices, condominiums, hotels, airports, municipal and industrial facilities
• Prepare electrical plans, layouts, details, specifications, and construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD
• Perform electrical load calculations, establish system requirements, select equipment, and develop power distribution and lighting layouts
• Apply applicable electrical codes, building regulations, and engineering standards throughout the design process
• Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to identify design conflicts, omissions, and coordination issues
• Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, structural, and other design professionals to ensure integrated project documentation
• Review drawings and technical packages for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and constructability
• Respond to construction-phase questions, assist with technical coordination, and incorporate necessary design revisions
• Manage assigned design deliverables from initial development through final construction documentation
• Collaborate with our project managers and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges, meet project deadlines, and maintain design quality

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team and develop electrical systems for high-rise buildings and large-scale commercial projects. We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of building electrical design experience, advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, and the ability to produce coordinated, accurate, and construction-ready design packages. Important: Relevant commercial building or high-rise electrical design experience is essential. Candidates with residential-only electrical design experience will not qualify.

Key Responsibilities

• Experience preparing detailed electrical designs and construction documentation

• Ability to manage multiple design assignments while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working for an MEP consulting firm, particularly in South Florida
