Job summary

Applied Materials’ Display Controls Department is offering a Co-op position for Spring 2027 in Gloucester, MA. You will assist with documentation, soldering, and PCB design while learning schematic capture and circuit design under senior engineers.

The role starts January 2027, on-site in Gloucester. You must be pursuing a Bachelors or Master’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering with a 3.0+ GPA and have an interest in semiconductor manufacturing. Benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• GPA 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale required.
• Experience in semiconductor processing or manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electronic and system documentation.
• Assist in soldering and desoldering components on PCBs.
• Learn schematic capture and PCB design fundamentals.
• Analyze problems with more senior engineers.
• Organize and maintain the Electronics lab.
• Use test equipment to collect data.
• Design and test various circuits.
