Job summary

The Capital Development Board is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead planning, design, and review of project phases. You will provide professional electrical expertise across all project stages, ensuring compliance with codes and budgets.

Qualifications

• Requires four (4) years of college in engineering or construction and five (5) years' related work experience, or nine (9) years of progressive electrical engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and licensure as a Professional Engineer preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical engineering, building construction, codes, and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Reviews construction documents for code compliance and technical sufficiency.
• conducts field surveys and prepares budget survey documents.
• Works with A/Es, contractors, and user agencies to resolve project problems.
• Prepares electrical drawings and notes for new buildings and renovations.
• Assists with evaluating and selecting A/Es for projects.
• Keeps abreast of engineering developments to inform budgeting and planning.
