Job summary

Allocor.tech is seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to own 800V power electronics hardware design for aerospace-grade inverter programs. You’ll perform WCCA, design HV circuits, and drive PCB layout and documentation in a fast-moving team.

You will collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and leadership to build robust designs and scalable engineering processes supporting rapid growth and high reliability hardware on unmanned platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (MSEE a plus).
• 3–6 years of hands-on power electronics design experience on high-voltage (400V+) inverter or converter systems.
• Experience with EMI/EMC design techniques and pre-compliance testing.
• Strong proficiency with schematic capture and simulation tools (Altium, LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink).

Responsibilities

• Design high-voltage power electronics circuits for 800V inverter program, topology selection and thermal optimization.
• Perform WCCA and SPICE simulations for safety-critical circuits with documentation.
• Design mixed-signal systems with attention to noise, signal integrity, creepage/clearance, and thermal management.
• Support impedance-controlled PCB layouts and high-speed SI analysis for multi-layer boards.
• Drive hardware-software integration with firmware engineers on registers and timing.
