This role is part of the Vulcan New Product Development Team (COE) and the Troy-based technical team supporting Vulcan combi products. This role is responsible for electrical and controls development, including electrical system design, component selection and validation, troubleshooting, compliance testing, and support of new and existing products. The position will also serve as a key U.S. technical interface with global software-development teams, translating U.S. product requirements and field issues into clear software requirements and defect reports and tracking those items through resolution.
Strong electrical engineering fundamentals, systems-level problem solving, communication, and project-management skills are required. The successful candidate does not need to be a software developer but should be comfortable working with software-development processes, issue-tracking systems, and globally distributed development teams. Programming or embedded-controls experience is preferred.

The compensation package for the role offers a competitive base salary ranging from $101,200- $151,800.
ITW considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, geographic location, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
