Job summary

SPEC Process Engineering & Construction is seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer in the United States with 5 to 10 years of experience in facility and building design. The role involves designing manufacturing plants, rehabilitating facilities, and working in high-hazard environments.

You will write specifications and create electrical drawings while coordinating with contractors and clients. The position requires travel to job sites and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience writing specifications tailored to project needs.
• Create electrical drawings for power, lighting, tel/data, security, and others using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Maintain panel schedules for each branch circuit used.
• Layout devices on a background and select various components based on project requirements.

• Travel to jobsites to verify or record information at various stages of projects.
• Good communication with contractors, engineers, clients, and construction personnel; strong organizational skills and willingness to learn.

Mid-Level Electrical Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience and a background in facility/building design. Projects include new design and construction of manufacturing plants and facilities, and rehabilitation of existing plants/facilities and other high-hazard environments.
