Job summary

TechniPower, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support a client in Stow, Ohio, within the custom machinery sector.

This contract-to-hire role emphasizes design and engineering of custom equipment with mandatory on-site work. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or EE Technology with 2+ years of drafting and design experience, plus AutoCAD Electrical familiarity and the ability to create wiring diagrams and panel layouts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• 2+ years of experience doing electrical drafting and design.
• AutoCAD Electrical experience preferred.
• Wiring diagrams, panel layouts and associated tables.
• Knowledge of electrical standards.
• Understanding of machines and working for a manufacturing company.
• PLC programming experience a plus (Allen Bradley and GE preferred).
• Knowledge of variable frequency drive and servo motor control experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineering on custom equipment for a client in the custom machinery industry.
• On-site engineering work and collaboration with the client.

I have a client located in Stow, OH that has an opportunity for an Electrical Engineer. If you or any of your colleagues are interested this role.

In this role, you will working as an Electrical Engineer for a client that works in the custom machinery industry. This position will be responsible for doing design and engineering on custom equipment.

This position is a contract to possible hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site.

Pay; $80,000-$90,000/Yr. depending on experience

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology
• 2+ years of experience doing electrical drafting and design
• AutoCAD Electrical experience preferred - open to AutoCAD experience with an electrical design background
• Responsible for doing wiring diagrams, panel layouts and associated tables.
• Knowledge of electrical standards preferred
• Understanding of machines and working for a manufacturing company
• PLC programming experience a plus - Allen Bradley and GE preferred
• Knowledge of variable frequency drive and servo motor control experience
