Applied Materials, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Santa Clara, CA to design, modify, and troubleshoot electrical assemblies that support cutting-edge semiconductor and display equipment.

You will coordinate procurement, perform engineering analysis, and generate test reports and documentation for product releases, while leveraging basic problem-solving skills under direct supervision. A Bachelor's in EE is required; 1–2 years' related experience preferred.

• Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering concepts.
• Ability to generate clear engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement and assembly of electrical components and subsystems.
• Design or modify electrical engineering assemblies, layouts, schematics, or specifications.
• Perform basic engineering analysis under supervision and use standard procedures to solve problems.
• Produce basic engineering test reports for product releases.
• Create related alpha/gamma documentation for product releases.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and ensure peak performance of equipment.

Using your technical experience and critical thinking skills, you will perform engineering analysis, generate test reports, develop innovative solutions, and create documentation for product releases.
