Job summary

FWG Solutions seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide high‑level support for LCAC/SSC operations and related DoD programs. You will handle electrical power, wiring, electronics and controls while ensuring compliance with NAVSEA standards and strict security requirements.

The role requires 8–10 years of senior experience, an active Secret clearance (or interim), and the ability to work onsite with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required (in electrical, electronics, computer, systems or related engineering field)
• Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain an interim clearance required
• NAVSEA electrical standards
• MIL-STD 2003 preferred
• Eight to ten (8–10) years of experience in similar senior position
• Experience with NAVSEA electrical standards; IPC familiarity required

Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical engineering duties and support for LCAC/SSC mechanical systems
• Perform electrical power, wiring, electronics and controls tasks
• Troubleshoot, test, and perform installations or repairs as required
• Report and adhere to safety procedures
• Maintain and update documentation and configurations
• Coordinate with engineering and quality control teams
• Stay up to date on technical documentation and reporting requirements
• Support various programs and projects to ensure successful completion

This position is for LCAC 100 program.

The Electrical Engineer will provide senior level engineering support for all site operations. This position will apply their industry knowledge and skill set to support the continued effective operations of all electrical power, wiring, electronics and controls.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct the electrical engineering duties and support for all LCAC/SSC mechanical systems
• Perform operational tasks including, but not limited to, electrical power, wiring, electronics, controls
• Perform routine work with limited to no supervision or instruction
• Will troubleshoot, test and perform any installations or repairs as required
• Responsible for all reporting and safety procedures
• Ability to take on new assignments with general instructions
• In charge of all repair and installation planning
• Support mechanical engineering analysis, repair planning
• Supports electrical/electronic system analysis and work packages
• In charge of configuration updates and documentation
• Stay up to date on all technical documentation and reporting requirements
• Apply industry knowledge to various programs and projects ensuring successful completion
• Use knowledge of industry standard policies, procedures and practical applications to complete job tasks
• Other duties as related to the business functions of FWG Solutions, as assigned

Education

• Bachelor's Degree required (in electrical, electronics, computer, systems or related engineering field)

Licenses & Certifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain an interim clearance required
• NAVSEA electrical standards
• MIL-STD 2003 preferred

Experience

• Eight to ten (8‑10) years of experience in similar senior position
• Experience with NAVSEA electrical standards
• IPC familiarity required
