Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience is required.
• Understanding of Electrical Code and 70E.
• Experience creating electrical ladder diagram schematics.
• ACAD and SolidWorks experience.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical wiring diagrams using AutoCAD and Solid Works.
• Review and validate bill of materials for Commercial semi-custom HVAC equipment.
• Update tools such as engineering breakdowns and Serial Tag programs to automate tasks.
• Work with Sustaining engineering and production to create pre-configured universal wiring harnesses.
• Ensure compliance with ETL and NEC agency coding standards, and others as may be required.
• Identify value add/value engineering opportunities and help drive solutions into production.
• Streamline Electrical designs for cost savings.
• Help create standard work documents for tasks performed by the department to ensure quality of work.
• Assist in sourcing electrical components for cost savings and simplification.

Electrical Engineer I

Addison HVAC, LLC, Orlando, Addison HVAC is a manufacturer of rooftop commercial HVAC systems located in Orlando, FL. Addison produces std as well as semi-custom heating and cooling systems.

The Electrical Engineer Create ladder wiring diagrams and modify and validate bill of materials for semi-custom commercial HVAC equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design electrical wiring diagrams using AutoCAD and Solid Works.
• Review and validate bill of materials for Commercial semi-custom HVAC equipment.
• Update tools such as engineering breakdowns and Serial Tag programs to automate tasks.
• Work with Sustaining engineering and production to create pre-configured universal wiring harnesses.
• Ensure compliance with ETL and NEC agency coding standards, and others as may be required.

Required Qualifications

Education
