Job summary

BayOne Solutions is seeking an Electrical Engineer with strong analytical skills and distribution engineering knowledge to interpret Smart Meter data and drive actionable insights for field operations and asset management teams.

The role requires collaboration with field operations, Protection & Control, and engineering teams to validate machine learning driven predictions and improve model accuracy across large datasets.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering with familiarity in distribution engineering.
• Familiarity with electric distribution line equipment, protective device settings, distribution operations, and distribution power flow analysis.
• Ability to interpret Smart Meter data and translate results into actionable insights for field operations and asset management teams.
• Experience with large datasets to improve model accuracy and reduce false positives; collaborate with field operations and engineering to validate ML predictions.

Job description

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering · Familiarity with electric distribution line equipment, protective device settings, electric distribution operations, and distribution power flow analysis
• Ability to interpret Smart Meter data and predictive alerts and translate results into actionable insights for field operations and asset management teams to predict and prioritize transformer defects and overhead/underground electrical line defects.
• Experience working with large datasets (e.g., historical defect data, inspection records, and operational data) to improve model accuracy and reduce false positives.
• Experience collaborating with field operations, Protection & Control, and engineering teams to validate machine learning driven predictions.
