Job summary

MIKEL is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist II to support the BYG-1 Integrated Logistics Support team at NUWC on-site in Middletown, RI. The role focuses on configuration management for media, shipments, and documentation within a DoD environment.

You will prepare transmittals, upload receipts, track deliveries, and ensure both classified and unclassified materials are stored and documented properly.

Position: BYG-1 ILS Configuration Management Specialist II

Mikel is currently looking for an experienced Configuration Management II to support our AN/BYG-1 Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Team.

Duties:

• Support the AN/BYG-1 Media Delivery Team in any tasks required including:
• Prepare transmittal paperwork for shipments
• Upload receipts and file electronically
• Track deliveries to ensure shipments have/had been received
• Review transmittals and shipments to ensure a quality product
• Handling and storage of classified and unclassified material
• Alfresco database (where documentation is found)
• Follow up with Squadrons to confirm deliveries and notifications via phone calls/emails.
• Work closely with Division Heads to ensure their availability for signature of approval for all deliveries
• Work closely with Installation Team Leads to determine installation requirements
• Other tasks as assigned associated with BYG-1 media shipment/movement
• Media duplication efforts for support with fleet installation media
