Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with deep expertise in satellite communications (SATCOM) and radio frequency (RF) systems. This role is based in McLean, VA and will support mission‑critical programs involving high‑reliability and secure communications architectures.

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Polygraph

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Sponsor’s bespoke network infrastructure as required within the scope of this effort.
• Document on Sponsor’s systems and, when and where possible, collaborate on third‑party technical and communications solutions under Sponsor review, and to validate the Sponsor’s requirements.
• Perform due diligence research on any and all technology products and companies with which the Sponsor uses in solutions or conducts business with.
• Develop tailored, multi‑ and single‑purpose technical and communications solutions according to the Sponsor’s technical and operational requirements; all designs require approval from Sponsor.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of hands‑on experience in RF and SATCOM system design and implementation.
• Familiarity with security communications techniques and methodologies.
• Ability to work on‑site in McLean, VA.
• Top Secret clearance with polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience providing analytical reports to non‑technical audiences on Internet use, computer network exploitation, online censorship, and radio frequency.
• Demonstrated experience developing, testing, analyzing, and using bespoke technical solutions.
• Demonstrated experience with Cisco ISE and Nutanix AHV.
• Demonstrated experience maintaining bespoke operational network integrity and availability.
• Demonstrated experience building, operating and maintaining “Zero Trust” Architectures and Networks.
• Demonstrated experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Palo Alto.
• Familiarity with government or defense acquisition processes and documentation standards.
